The school has 5 campuses across India:

  • ii. Navi Mumbai – 3-year-old
  • iii. Bengaluru – 2-year-old
  • iv. Hyderabad - 2-year-old
  • v. Indore - 2-year-old

The course structure, pedagogy, curriculum, infrastructure & facilities are the same across all the campuses.

  • To apply for these courses the student should have passed in the 12 th grade examination conducted by a recognized board / university with minimum 50% marks.
  • CLAT / LSAT Score

The candidate can log onto – www.law.nmims.edu. After selecting their preferred course, they need to fill in the application form with their personal and academic details. The final step is to fill in their CLAT and / or LSAT score followed by making the payment.

*The form can be edited to fill LSAT / CLAT / 12 th grade marks once received. (Applicable for LL.B. & LL.M. programs)

NMIMS School of Law accepts both CLAT and LSAT Scores. A candidate can either apply though CLAT exam score or LSAT exam score or both the exam scores.

We do not prefer any particular exam over the other. We have 2 separate merit lists for both the entrance exam.

No. Admission into NMIMS School of Law is solely based on merit. There is absolutely no quota system.

The application fee is ₹1200 plus GST. The candidate does not have to pay any additional amount for selecting multiple program and campus preference.

Yes, the school believes in holistic growth and gives equal importance to extra curriculum activities. A few co-curricular activities – Debate society, Moot court committee, Model United Nations Committee, etc. The extracurricular activities at our school are cultural & sports activities. The students participate in several events, competitions & festivals.

Kirit P. Mehta School of Law currently has 3 undergraduate alumni batches.

We provide 100% placement assistance to all our students. In 2019 placements, we placed 76% of our students in law firms & corporates. 21% students went on to pursue their master’s degree and the remaining 3% chose to practice law independently.

Yes, for the undergraduate program internship is compulsory and credit based. The students have to complete 5 internships in their tenure. The linear progression of internship starts from NGOs to Trial Court, from Trial Court to High Court / Firms / Corporates and from High Court to Supreme Court / Firms / Corporates. School of Law provides internship assistance to learners as per their necessity.

  • For 1 st four semesters – 8 AM to 4 PM
  • 5 th semester – 8 AM to 10 AM

In an Honours program, the student gets to select an elective subject in the 4 th year based on their interest & preference. Also, in this type of program the student has to complete a certain number of credits to receive the degree.

The school offers Master of Law (LL.M.) in 4 specializations:

  • i. Constitutional Law
  • ii. Corporate Law
  • iii. Financial Regulations, and
  • iv. Intellectual Property Rights

LL.M. is a one-year program offered only in our Mumbai campus.

The candidate should have passed in the examination conducted by a recognized University leading to the award of an LL.B. degree (minimum 50% in final year examinations).

The candidate can log onto – www.law.nmims.edu. After selecting their preferred course, they need to fill in the application form with their personal and academic details. The candidate can apply either through their PG CLAT score OR a written test & personal interview.
